Weng Weng

Weng Weng (September 7, 1957 — August 29, 1992) was a Filipino actor and martial artist. He was born in Baclaran, in what is now Parañaque City.^[1] Only 2 foot, 9 inches (83 cm) tall, he is listed in the Guinness World Records as the shortest adult actor in a leading role.He played Secret Agent 00 in For Y’ur Height Only , The Impossible Kid and "D’Wild Wild Weng".

In For Y’ur Height Only, the brilliant scientist Dr. Kohler is kidnapped by an evil organization headed by "Mr Giant". The forces of good call on Secret Agent 00 to rescue him, and 00 does so by using a combination of kicking people in the knees or the genitals, shooting with remarkable accuracy, and sliding across the floor firing his pistol as he goes. The film ends with Agent 00 locating the secret island Mr. Giant uses for a hideout, dispensing with the red beret wearing guards, and meting out his special form of justice.

In The Impossible Kid, Weng Weng is now working for the Manila branch of Interpol. The Chief sends him in the pursuit of Mr X, an arch villain with a white sock on his head, who is holding the Philippines to ransom. Two businessmen, Maolo and Simeon, pay the demands but Weng Weng suspects foul play and goes deep undercover to reveal the identity of Mr X.

In D'Wild Wild Weng, Weng Weng and sidekick Gordon (Max ZUMA Laurel) are sent to the countryside to investigate the murder of Santa Monica’s mayor. The town is now overrun by the corrupt governor Sebastian (played by Romy Diaz) and his army of banditos, all dressed up to look like Mexican revolutionaries. The ending has Weng cranking a Gatling gun - on the back of a jeep - mowing down wave after wave of sombreros, while a tribe of dwarf Indians launch a counterattack with bows and arrows.

D’Wild Wild Weng shares much of the cast from both For Y’ur Height Only, and The Impossible Kid: Yehlen Catral (Lola in For Y’ur Height Only) plays Elsa the barmaid, Max (For Y’ur Height Only’s tartan-clad villain in shades and cloth cap) Alvarado takes a turn at playing a sympathetic character as the mute Lupo, and Nina Sara (later in The Impossible Kid) is Weng’s love interest Clara.

Weng Weng had an active film career in the 1970s and the 1980s, but had not had a major acting role for several years prior to his death in 1992 due to a heart attack (aged 34).

Panchito Alba

Panchito Alba (born Alfonso D. Tagle, Sr.; February 25, 1925 – December, 1995) was a FAMAS award-winning Filipino film actor who almost exclusively appeared in comedy roles. He was billed as either "Panchito Alba" or simply "Panchito". Known for his swarthy looks and a prominent nose which was often the target of ridicule, Panchito frequently appeared as a comedic foil to Dolphy.

Panchito was born in Paco, Manila.^[1] His mother, Etang Discher, became a prominent film actress beginning in the 1940s, often cast in villainous roles. One of his brothers, Emil, also became a film actor.

Panchito's career in show business began in 1942 when he joined a bodabil troupe called "Travel Stage Show" which performed in various theaters in Japanese-occupied Manila^[1] The then 14-year old Dolphy was also a member of the troupe, thus beginning a life-long association.

Comedy-Action Packed Animated movie from Dreamworks Pictures that stars Jack Black as the voice of Po, the "big fat Panda" who by no accident chosen to be the Dragon Warrior. Also feature the voices of Dustin Hoffman as Shifu and the formidable tandem of the Furious Five that features the voices of Angelina Jolie as Tigress, Jackie Chan as Monkey, Seth Rogen as Mantis, Lucy Liu as Viper, and David Cross as Crane.

Just a little background of the movie. Po a big fat panda who's son of a Noodle-maker and a day-dreamer of becoming a kung fu master of all china. When the time Oogway have to choose from furious five to be the Dragon Warrior, accidentally Po from heaven falls and when he landed in the middle of the celebration by "no accident" Oogway points his finger at Po. And everything was a history , better watch it. If you have kids i'm sure they will definitely like it.

By the way this is the No. 1 Movie in America today. A U.S movie with a twist of Filipino sound, the main soundtrack of the movie "Kungfu Fighting" sung by our very own Sam Concepcion. Watch the credits to believe :D

Waking up early in the morning to catch up the 6:30am morning flight bound for Cebu. With me 2 cartons of forms and my baggage which i was charged of excess baggage amounting to P 400.00 :(.Not to mention the P 200.00 terminal fee charge of the airport, so early in the morning i was stripped off P 600.00 in my wallet. But its not over yet, with a delayed flight that supposed to be a 6:30 affair turns into a 7:15 affair :( bound for Cebu (I thought Cebu Pacific is on time?). I didn't enjoy the sight seeing because i was placed on sit 16C which in the middle-aisle(too bad). We arrived at Cebu bought some bunwich at Dunkin' Donut and the weird thing fruit shake(hehe). The wi-fi of Cebu airport sucks, yeah they have it but you can't connect to it(useless). After eating, i thought everything will be ok going to palawan but i was wrong. The reason, the flight(for the 2nd time) was delayed! (oh my! tsk), --paminsan lang ako sumakay ng eroplano delayed pa lahat . Well, the flight going to palawan just fine again but didn't enjoy the sight seeing for i was sitting the same sit again! :( . An hour later, tsadan! --puerto prinsesa,palawan. To sum it all? Jetlog(hehe). Hope to make bawi the next few days.

CAMP SABROS

The Baguio City-like of Davao Del Sur. A 1 hour and 30 minutes travel from Davao City proper and another 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Digos City highway (before Davao Del Sur Electric Cooperative). The pine trees, the mosses, the ferns and the cold breeze of air , its like your traveling the road of Baguio city.

Along the way you can stop by the cliffs to see the breathe-taking view of the Whole Davao Del Sur. You can take pictures of the clouds hovering over the mountains of Davao Del Sur and with fog covering the mountain tops.

When at the foot of the camp, you will stop at a checkpoint where you have to leave your vehicles and take a hike or take a Skylab-single motorcycle(habal-habal) to take you to the camp proper. A 15 minutes hike to the top or a 5 minutes Skylab, lucky for you if the road is not muddy or else it will be a messy-muddy hike going to the top.

When at the camp, it feels like you are in Baguio city on top of the mountain with pine trees all over the place. But the most eye catching of all is the ZIP LINE. A long zip line of cable going to the other part of the mountain and a cable car ride going back. It cost P 150.00/per ride and every ride is a unforgettable experience.

VIRGIN FALLS

A stunning beauty hidden in the mountain of kapatagan area. One of the attraction of the kapatagan, the Virgin Falls just like a virgin lady so hard to tame.

To get there you have to take a sky-lab and a 10 minutes ride going through a banana plantation. When at the point where you have to take a hike going to the falls, at first it looks pretty easy but it is not. The trail that takes about 30 minutes or more depending on how fast you can get through the muddy and tall grasses. Just be careful with the trail because on the other side of it is a cliff.

The muddy,grassy, and tiring hike going to the falls will be rewarded by a beautiful scene of falling water. The sound of the falling water and the super cold water that you can feel when wash your muddy feet. If you have your camera don't leave the place without having a souvenir pic with the Virgin Falls as your background.

Flowerhorn Fish(Luo-Han Fish)

Flowerhorn also known as "Luo-Han" in Chinese and many Asian countries. Fortune fish, good luck fish for many owners because they believe it brings fortune and luck to their lives, family and most importantly to their business.

The big hump in their head (commonly known to most owners and breeders as "KOK") , Pearls and Plums (Black markings) are the physical characteristics of a flowerhorn fish.

But are you wondering where this lucky-beautiful creature came from?

Let me give you a short history of this big-head, pearly fish.

In was in the late 1990's when these species emerged in the market of MALAYSIA. Flowerhorns are thought to arise from the man-made hybridization of a number of cichlid species, from South Central America. Although the exact parent species are not known, it is most likely that they include Cichlasoma trimaculatum and Amphilophus citrinellus (or another fish of the red devil cichlid) complex.

This fish is very hardy, and can endure water conditions that are not suitable for most breeds of aquarium fish. This is also part of the reason why the Flower Horn is so popular with many tropical fish hobbyists. The ideal pH level in the water should be around pH 7 to pH 7.8, a kH above 160 ppm., and with a water temperature ranging between 78 °F to 85°F (25 °C to 29°C). As to aquarium size, a 75 gallon or larger is best.

Flowerhorns have kept most of their Red Devil personality traits and are generally best alone, where they still make excellent pets.

Flowerhorns may grow up to about 12 inches in length depending on its breed and may live to 8 to 10 years. Flower Horns have been observed that were 16 inches long when breed by expert fish breeders.

After so many years of cross-breedings, new strains emerged. The most common strains are the JinHua(Kamfas) and the ZhenZhou(ZZ). Other common names are the Red Dragons, Red texas, Red kamfa, also there are the cross strains for example Thai-ZZ, Malau-ZZ,Thai-Kamfa,Kamfa-ZZ and so many more names. (Sometimes breeders just give names based on their own breedings)

I started flowerhorn growing way back May of 2006 when a friend of mind gave me a fry(flowerhorn .5 inches to 1.5 inches long) to take care of. I named it "Kentoy" but after a year it died, he was 8 inches long.

Despite of losing an 8 inches pet. I never quit the hobby because i know i can still grow more flowerhorns. With the help of my fellow hobbyist i learned so much in growing and even into breeding .

Now at home i have so many pets all are flowerhorns. The front space of our house is occupied by aquariums. I have 4 (36x18x18 inches) , 5 (24x12x12 inches) , 1 (32x12x12 inches) , 2 (12x12x12 inches), 1 (8x8x8 inches) aquariums.

For the loved of the hobby i even made a website for the group. First it was just a free space on the internet, but after we gathered funds from fellow hobbyist we are able to buy our own website and domain. By just reading the title above it gives a lot of pressure to answer the question.

Pressure at work always there. Pressure somewhat like a challenge, challenge to everyone who undergoes it everyday in the workplace.

But how can we handle pressure at work?

I've searched the Google site for any tips on how to handle pressure. I've got 1,080,000 results :)

I've found one site that gives at least 3 small guidelines in handling pressure at work.
